Honey cheese cake


Crust :

  • 200g  Graham cracker crumbs
  • 100g  Melted butter
  • 100g  Sugar

Cream cheese and honey mixture :

  • 750g  Cream cheese
  • 150g  Labonté Clover honey
  • 200g  Egg
  • 15ml  Lemon juice
  • 5ml  Vanilla extract


Crust :

  • Mix together graham cracker crumbs and sugar and blend in melted butter.
  • Press crumb mixture firmly on bottom or pan.

Cream cheese and honey mixture :

  • Soften cream cheese, using a spoon or the whisk from your mixer.
  • Add honey.
  • Mix in the eggs, one at a time and stir until well blended.
  • Add lemon juice and vanilla extract.
  • Pour into graham cracker lined pan.
  • Bake at 350oF for one hour.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Put some honey to coat top and sides of cheesecake.
  • Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over honey glazing.

For an added touch :

  • Serve with honey yogurt sauce.
